The second it registers, it goes full tilt in that direction. When it comes down to it, dpads are actually (a lot) faster than analog sticks in an emulated system. ![]() So, on an NES, SNES, SMS, Genesis, TurboGrafx, etc. Believe it or not, most people prefer to game on whichever device is most similar to the controllers for that system.
